Identity Wallets

Digital wallets[2] or applications that securely store and manage an individual’s digital identities, credentials[1], and personal data[3]. Immutable Refers to data or records[4] that cannot be changed, altered, or deleted once they are created or stored.

Defined Terms
1. credentials.

Information or proof of qualifications, certifications, or authorizations that validate an individual’s identity or attributes. Cryptocurrencies Digital or virtual currencies that use cryptographic techniques for secure transactions, control the creation of new units, and verify the transfer of assets.

2. wallets.

Digital applications or tools used to store, manage, and transact with cryptocurrencies, digital assets, or identity-related data.

3. data.

Numbers, characters, or images in a form which can be assessed by a human or (especially) input into a computer, stored and processed.

4. records.

A collection of data elements or fields pertaining to the same entity (i.e. an employee, job, location, etc.). For example, each employee has a record that contains only his/her information (e.g. name, address, date of birth, etc.) in the record.
