Decentralized Identifiers [DIDs]

Unique identifiers that are globally unique, persistent, and under the control of the entity[2] or individual to whom they are assigned, enabling self-sovereign identity[1].

1. Self-Sovereign Identity ( self-sovereign identity )

The concept that individuals have ownership and control over their digital identities and personal data, allowing them to manage and share it securely.

2. entity.
