Bring Your Own Device [BYOD]

A term used to describe the growing trend of employee- owned devices within a business (for example, smartphones, tablets, laptops and other devices). Most employers have policies that govern the use of employee-owned devices in the workplace that are intended to secure the privacy of employee and business data[1].
