Work Breakdown Structure [WBS]

In a project^[1] plan this refers to the detail list of tasks, the order they are to be completed in and the persons that are to be completing them.

Defined Terms

An interrelated set of tasks with a beginning and an end that is bounded by time, resources, costs and desired results.

Glossary: Work Package
A deliverable or project work component at the lowest level of each branch of the work breakdown structure. The work package includes the scheduled activities and schedule milestones required to complete the work package deliverable or project work component.
