A component that exists somewhere in an organization's network outside the central repository.

The broader term for technologies like blockchain and HolochainTM that enable decentralized and distributed ledgers.




Distributed Objects

An architecture that describes the location of objects in multiple repositories on multiple servers.


Distributed Storage

The storage of data across multiple devices or nodes in a network, enhancing data availability, redundancy, and fault tolerance.

Document Management

The system of creating, sharing, organizing and storing documents within an organization. The use of a computer system and software to store, manage and track electronic documents. Whether it's self-hosted or cloud-based, document management software can be used to help facilitate the document-management process. Often referred to as Document Management Systems (DMS).


Domain

Used in conjunction with enterprise architecture to describe a collection of objects belonging to a specific business sector, such as Finance, HR Management, etc.
