Identity Wallets
Digital wallets or applications that securely store and manage an individual’s digital identities, credentials, and personal data. Immutable Refers to data or records that cannot be changed, altered, or deleted once they are created or stored.
Implementation
The structured process of integrating an application into workforce processes. It includes the installation, configuration and data population and testing of an information technology system. Putting in place a collection of components and objects to perform that function they were designed to do.
Information
The by-product of having data in an HR System. Data is gathered and reviewed providing information for decision making.
Information Integrity
The process that ensures the data in the system must be created, modified or deleted by an authorized user.
Information Privacy
Keeping private the personally identifiable information that is collected in HR systems.
Information Security
Ensures confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
Infrastructure
The generic term to include all application software, operating systems, network communications and database management systems with an organization.
Infrastructure as a Service
A form of cloud computing that provides virtualized computing resources over the internet. In an IaaS model, a cloud provider hosts the infrastructure components traditionally present in an on-premises data center, including servers, storage and networking hardware, as well as the virtualization or hypervisor layer.
In-House Processing/Administration
The administrative processing that is performed within the corporation by the corporations’ employees not a third party administrator. The processing may be manual or automated using software programs.
Integrated Software Package
Software that combines several application processes into one and typically shares common data elements across processes without the need for interfaces. For example, an integrated HRMS would have the core HR processes and data along with one or more talent management processes and the employee data would be shared among each application process without the need to transfer data between components of the software.
